From Team Member to Emerging Leader (ELLCQ1)

Description

Overview

Stepping into leadership for the first time is a defining career moment. This workshop supports you in making the shift from being part

of the team to stepping into a leadership role within it. You will explore your natural leadership style, consider how others currently see you, and set aspirations for the kind of leader you want to become. The focus is on identity, presence, and communication — the

foundations every leader needs to establish early.

Key Learning Outcomes

By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Identify your signature leadership style, current perception, and aspirations.
  • Understand the shift from being “one of the team” to leading within it.
  • Recognise how behaviour and tone signal leadership in everyday situations.
  • Build awareness of how clarity and consistency create credibility.
  • Begin developing presence through effective communication.

Summary

This workshop marks the starting point of your leadership journey. By defining your leadership identity, recognising how others experience you, and learning to communicate with intention, you’ll begin to build the trust and presence that underpin effective leadership. These are the foundations you will continue to grow as your leadership responsibilities expand.
